Cycling, Commitment, and Family: Equipson on the Route of BikeFest 2024
Under the slogan #WeMakeEvents, this competition not only promises to be an event for cycling enthusiasts but also a vital boost for the live events industry still recovering from the aftermath of the pandemic.
A highlight of this event is the participation of Equipson, with José Luis Vila, the company's CEO, and Juan José Vila, its CSO, as enthusiastic cyclists and participants. José Luis Vila, Equipson's CEO, is 73 years old, showcasing his dedication to the event despite his age.
In addition to being members of the Equipson Group, José Luis and Juan José share a special bond as father and son, and the Bike Fest 2024 becomes the perfect opportunity to strengthen that bond while not only demonstrating their passionate commitment to the industry they work in but also promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
The three-day route will take participants through some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Levantine coast:
- Day 1: Valencia -> Peñíscola The inaugural route promises challenges and spectacular views as cyclists cover the 140 km from Valencia to the picturesque Peñíscola.
- Day 2: Peñíscola -> Salou The second stage will offer a mix of terrains and varied landscapes, taking participants from Peñíscola to the lively Salou, covering 135 km.
- Day 3: Salou -> Barcelona The climax of the event will be the final stage, where cyclists will cover 105 km from Salou to the vibrant Barcelona.
The Bike Fest 2024 promises to be more than just a competition; it will be an experience that combines the thrill of cycling with the solidarity needed in these times. Entry fees will contribute to covering the event costs, including accommodation and meals for participants. Additionally, all remaining funds will go to the charity organization supported by #WeMakeEvents: Backup Tech.
